On May 16, 2026, the Yuen Long Barrage and Nullah Improvement Schemes project team organized an engaging and educational “STEAM Workshop” for forty primary students from the Lau Tat Chuen Tsuen Wan Care Service Centre. Through site visits and interactive games, the students gained deeper insights into this key infrastructure project while engaging directly with professional engineers to acquire valuable industry knowledge. The project team aims to inspire students’ interest and passion for the construction sector, encouraging them to consider future careers in this dynamic and opportunity-filled field. This hands-on learning experience not only broadened their horizons but also laid a solid foundation for their future growth and development.
