“Central Kowloon Route” – Kai Tak West (CKR - KTW) Project Team arranged “Explore our Community’ activity for kids in Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children Ma Tau Chung Nursery School on Monday, 4 November 2019.

With the theme “My community”, kids explored everything in their neighborhood, including construction works. Through story telling, the project team introduced the construction of bridges, tunnels and roads. Besides, the project team shared environmental knowledge in user-friendly way. Students are encouraged to be curious, be inquisitive, ask questions and interact with each other.

Children also reached their full potential in art during the painting section. The project team believed young children begin to learn about the greater world by first learning about the community.
