The Lunar New Year is the most important traditional Chinese festival. The outbreak of COVID-19 is still raging, not only reducing the family gatherings, also causing significant impacts to the elderly who live alone.
The FSEE Volunteer Team and Tung Wah Group of Hospital – Endless Care Services jointly organized the “Lunar New Year Warmth Giving Programme” on 4 Feb 2021. Our volunteers have produced 150 sets of New Year Ornaments and greeting cards, packed with food and daily commodies, giving warm and greetings to the 150 elders living alone. We hope to share the festive joy with them.
