After four years hiatus, the "Construction Industry Council Lo Pan Cup '' dragon boat race was held on 22 June 2023 (Thu) on Dragon Boat Festival at Shing Mun River in Sha Tin. The Construction Industry Council (CIC) had organised industry teams to participate in the race for three consecutive years before the event was suspended, and received enthusiastic support from the industry. This year, with the support and active participation of various organisations, the CIC sponsored five competitions of the “Sha Tin District Dragon Boat Race”, attracting 28 elite dragon boat teams from the construction industry and government departments in total to compete for various honours.
